Portals is a desktop creative workspace that brings together an infinite brainstorming canvas, a professional vector design editor, and AI-powered app generation — all in a single tool. At its core is the Portal Agent, an embedded AI that can manipulate your canvas, search the web, generate interactive applets, and help you move from idea to working prototype without ever switching tabs.

How Portals works

Portals is organized around three integrated modes you switch between using the mode selector at the top of the app.

Brainstorm on an infinite canvas

Start by capturing your ideas as cards on a frictionless infinite canvas. Use the Portal Agent to automatically research topics, pull in images, and organize your thoughts into mind maps or moodboards.

Design in the vector editor

Move to Design mode when you’re ready to create polished UI mockups, presentations, or vector artwork using artboards, layers, shapes, and text tools.

Generate a working app

Use Compose mode or the Design-to-Build workflow to turn your mockup into a real, interactive app — the AI reads your design and generates live HTML/CSS/JS you can preview instantly.

Collaborate and export

Invite teammates to your workspace, work together with live presence cursors, then export to PDF, PNG, or slides when you’re done.
